Sometimes I get home from a long day of work and am looking for something sweet to satisfy my tastebuds, but I don’t want to take a step back from healthy eating. If you like peanut butter, give these a try as a great late night snack. They are low in carbs and high in protein and VERY satiating.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups all natural peanut butter (drain the oil)
1/4 cup molasses
2 Tbsp whole flax seeds
2 scoops of your favorite protein powder
METHOD
- Take all the ingredients and mix together in a large mixing bowl (this takes some muscle)
- Make into balls about the size of a walnut
- Place the balls in the fridge or freezer for at least 2 hours (I prefer frozen)
