Run Faster, Jump Higher, and Even Make You Better in Bed

Squats are great, I love em. However, we live in a nation plagued by weak, puny, glutes and hamstrings. When most clients come to me, be it athlete or general population, most of them wouldn’t know a hip hinge from a door hinge. Strong mobile hips are the key to explosiveness. So if you want to run faster, jump higher, or please your wife better, we have the answer for you. Enter the kettlebell swing and the band resisted kettlebell swing!

Kettlebells have been a training staple for the Russians for years, yet have only become popular in the states over the last 10 years or so. The weight of the kettlebell is distributed differently than a dumbbell so it makes it a superior tool for some exercises. This exercise can also be performed with a dumbbell if you don’t have access to a kettlebell. If you are already familiar with this exercise I encourage you to try the band resisted variation we use here to produce freaky explosiveness in our athletic and fitness enthusiast populations.
